Anh Doan is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a master’s degree in TESOL. She has been teaching English to all ages for more than 7 years. Her students call her Ms. Ann and love taking her classes because of the fun and engaging lessons. She loves to use different teaching approaches to make sure that her students continue to develop learning strategies and English skills outside the classroom. Anh was born and raised in Vietnam and now lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and two kids. She enjoys traveling and getting to know people from different cultures. In her free time, she likes to sing karaoke, watch Netflix, and take her kids to the parks

Sydney Collier was born and raised in Japan and now lives in Texas with her husband and cat. She received her Bachelor's degree in linguistics and minored in Korean with a certificate in teaching English as a second language. After mastering Korean, she plans on learning more languages including; Vietnamese and French. She loves to create art in all forms, including painting, sculpting, and cooking. She also has a passion for making her students laugh while learning. She loves to use multiple teaching approaches that best fits each student and their learning style while keeping motivation high.

Ricardo Ortiz is a Dallas native and graduate of the University of Texas in Arlington. He is an English and Spanish native speaker and is ambitious to learn Russian and other languages. While growing up, he has engaged in many sports from soccer, American Futbol, boxing, and snowboarding. He is a huge fan of the New England Patriots, Real Madrid and FC Dallas. Other passions include music, learning about history, traveling, trying new foods, coffee drinking, and playing the saxophone.

Abigail Mack is from the Midwest of the United States where she lives with her husband, two cats, and three chickens. She enjoys traveling, swimming, gardening, cooking, and spending time outdoors. She graduated from Truman State University in 2009 with Bachelor's degrees in French and Linguistics. After living in Russia and working at Omsk State Pedagogical University in 2010-2011, she received her Master's degree in French Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin in 2013. Abi has taught English and French to language learners for more than 10 years, and loves studying language. She speaks Russian, French and German and really enjoys communicating with others as well as helping Russian learners improve their skills in English.

Екатеrina Shestakova is from Siberia. She likes to go to a gym, travel, and play with her two young daughters. Ekaterina graduated from Omsk State Pedagogical University and Moscow Linguistic University. She has been teaching English and French for many years. Ekaterina holds a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), Cambridge. For the last 6 years she has been developing a methodology to teach English to young kids online.

Konstantin Shestakov is from Siberia. He likes to play chess, squash and travel. He has been teaching English for 15 years. He has been developing an approach that is based on the use of role plays for teaching foreign languages online. Konstantin has degrees and certificates from Omsk State Pedagogical University, Moscow Linguistic University and Iowa State University of Science and Technology. As a Fulbright scholar in 2006-2007, Konstantin lived in Ames, Iowa. 

Karen Marrufo Favela was born and raised in the state of Texas, located in Southern United States. She is a native speaker of English and a heritage speaker of Spanish. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and a Russian minor in 2019 There, she studied language pedagogy and second language acquisition. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is happy to continue to learn more about language processing and literacy. In her free time, Karen likes to read, dance, and play board games. She greatly enjoys teaching English and loves to see how her student’s skills improve over time.

Sarah Hinds is from the midwest region of the United States, which is considered the standard American accent.  She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Art and International Studies (with an emphasis in Russia and Eastern Europe). She speaks Russian, German, Spanish and has studied linguistics. In 2012 she earned a CELTA (Certificate English Language Teaching of Adults) through Teaching House, overseen by Cambridge University.  She has lived in Moscow, Russia and traveled in the U.K., Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Serbia, and Croatia. Hobbies include singing, photography, theatre, cinema, and literature.  She started teaching with Webilang in November 2014.

Mackenzie Armstrong  is from the midwest region of the United States. She is graduating in May 2021 from the University of Iowa with a major in International Relations with minors in Economics and in History. She has studied Russian, French, and Spanish. She is currently learning Latvian. She has traveled to Ireland, England, Scotland, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France. She enjoys being outside, skiing, hanging out with friends, and reading. She started at WebiLang in June 2020. She enjoys helping students improve their English language skills.

Jared Almond  is from Ft. Worth, Texas. He spends his time traveling, camping, cooking, going to the gym, and writing. He is currently studying at the University of Texas at Arlington: majoring in Linguistics, minoring Teaching English as a Second Language, and a focus on the Korean Language. Along with his Korean studies, he has studied and can speak German. He enjoys teaching and getting a better understanding of Second Language Acquisition.

Bri-Yanna Watkins  is from Texas. She loves Disney, reading, seafood and spending time with family and her two dogs. She graduates in December 2020 from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors of Arts in linguistics with a minor in Spanish language and TESOL. Along with her studies, she has been an active volunteer in various organizations and has a passion for helping others. She began her work with Webilang during an internship where she quickly found a love of teaching English to all ages. She loves encouraging her students and making sure they have fun with their learning!

Ashlie Devenney  is a student of Russian and Linguistics at the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas, located in the southern United States. After she graduates in December, Ashlie plans to go on to graduate school and study endangered languages and language documentation. Ashlie is a native speaker of English and has intermediate-level skills in Russian. In her free time, Ashlie loves to camp, hike, read, and spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys getting to know her students and learning more about them as people through her classes.

Polina Jovich  graduated from Omsk State University with a degree in Foreign Language Pedagogy. She chose the profession of a teacher in order to combine her two favorite things: communicating with children and teaching languages. A friendly, thoughtful and moderately strict attitude towards each student allows her to create a comfortable atmosphere for studying the English language. She likes to travel and learn a lot about cultures and life in different countries. She visited Greece, Spain, Montenegro, Serbia and the Czech Republic. In addition to knowing English, she is also studying Chinese and Serbian. She enjoys singing, reading books and photography.
